So what’s next? What can you expect from the Plus Size Perfection Experience?

We are a size-inclusive Melbourne wedding dress shop.

Well, while you are welcome to walk in and have a look around our Hallam showroom. To try on some gorgeous gowns (and you will want to once you see them), you’ll need to call beforehand to make an appointment. A booking ensures that no matter how busy we are on the day, you will have a one-on-one, personal consultation with a member of our friendly and highly trained staff.

You and your party will enjoy the exclusivity and attention of one of our highly trained designers, dressmakers, or consultants. Located inside the Leah S Designs Building in the Melbourne suburb of Hallam.

There will be a specialist Bridal stylist just for you.

Your consultant will assist in finding the perfect gown that will not only suit your body shape but take into account other factors like skin tone; White may not be a complementary colour for your skin tone. Perfection bridal has many gowns in different colours and tones that may suit your skin tone better. However, the choice is yours, and we will always respect your choices.

Other things to take into account are your personality. Your wedding day is not the time to pretend to be someone you are not. The last thing you want on your wedding day is to feel awkward. You need to feel at one with your wedding dress choice.

Wedding Budget

Try to set a gown budget before going to any wedding dress shops, allowing for alterations and bridal accessories such as a veil if you’re wearing one.

There will be a private conversation with your consultant about how much you have allowed when you arrive. We will always endeavor to show you gowns within your price range.

When you shop a plus size perfection bridal, your not just buying a dress. We are with you from ordering to making then alterations. We recommend that Alterations start approximately six weeks before the wedding. Perfection bridal has a fully equipped alterations department that will look after hemming and any other adjustments you may need. We are here for you.

Q: Will I be able to try on dresses in my size at your wedding dress shop?
A: Yes, we are different to most shops. We design a range of off-the-rack wedding dresses to suit most tastes in sizes 16 to 34. Because we have over 50 designs of plus size gowns to choose from, we may not have every style in every size. But we try to make sure there is always a variety of sizes to choose from in each different style, except for discontinued styles.

Q: Can I lay-buy my gown?

A: Yes, we have a four-month Lay-by with a 30 % deposit.

Q: I’m scared silly of choosing my dress.
A: Don’t be. We understand that you want to find your dream dress. At perfection bridal, we are plus size bridal specialists. And we are on a mission to make it as much fun as possible in a relaxed size-inclusive environment.
